Friday 9/11 and Sunday SOS Reminder

Friday, September 11-  Indy CrossFit Gathering @ Slippery Noodle

No workout Friday evening (4:00-6:00pm) but regular morning workouts in the morning.

We will meet around 6:30pm at the Slippery Noodle, downtown Indy (SW corner of South and Meridian Streets) for some dinner and drinks.  Just FYI this is a bar so no children allowed.

Sunday, September 13 - NO SOS (Suffer on Sunday)

Some of our members will be participating in the Beyond the Badge 5K Event at Crown Hill Cemetery , 9am start time. If you would like to participate, please register at www.tuxbro.com .   This event is in honor of Sheriff’s Deputy Jason Baker, who made the ultimate sacrifice on September 17, 2001, protecting our community. Proceeds from the event go to “The Jason M. Baker Scholarship Fund”

Also a few of our Indy CrossFitters/Highland Games athletes will be participating in the Columbus Scottish Festival on Sunday.   If you’re looking for some great music, food and Scottish fun, head on down and cheer our competitors on. More info at-   http://www.scottishfestival.org/

Labor Day Reminder

On Monday, September 7th there will only be the 8:30 am workout at the big hill at  Southeastway Park (off Carroll Road) - other class times are canceled for the holiday on Monday.

If you need to follow from the gym, please be there by 8:00am. If there is heavy rain or thunder, the workout will be at the gym.
