CrossFit was introduced to me after I had twins 8-3-09 by my husband who now does CrossFit through the IMPD academy. I have been doing CrossFit for 4 months now and CrossFit has taught me so much about a good workout! Before I wasted my time at chain fitness center thinking I was getting results. Now I see that my baby weight is almost completely off and I beginning to build strength I never knew I had. This program is amazing and has changed my life for the better. I mentally and physically feel better than I ever have! I’ve changed my eating habits and I’m building a better self-esteem. Everyone that I’ve met through Indy CrossFit has been very helpful and supportive of me. Thank You! I will continue to work hard at CrossFit for a better me. It’s addictive when you start seeing such awesome results.

Even though I previously considered myself in good health as a longtime runner, CrossFit has given me a whole new definition of fitness and what it means to be strong. I love that my new strength has given me the ability to successfully try new things throughout the year likeĀ adventure racing and roller derby. On skates with the Naptown Roller Girls CrossFit has boosted my confidence. I’m not intimidated by girls 2x my size because I know I’m stronger than most of them. If I can deadlift their bodyweight than surely I can knock them to the ground.
