Happy Labor Day Weekend to all….don’t forget to join us Monday morning for another edition of Holiday Hill. Meet us at 8:15 at the gym for the trek of dread to southeastway…..you need discipline - yes, you..
Yesterday, the Forge conducted the following: 50-35-20 of push press (65), box jumps, and SDHP (65)…
Wednesday, the Forge re-visited Angie: 100 pullups, 100 pushups, 100 squats and 100 situps…20:05 for me.
Thanks to Jeff and Jason for the thrashing I received at Indy Crossfit Westside…I’m sure Jeff will post pics soon of me gasping for oxygen and generally looking like I have post traumatic stress disorder…
Mike H pressing and impressing….

For those of you who are interested in how our bodies function, you owe it to yourself to check out the Bodies Exhibit currently being shown at Claypool Courts (Embassy Suites Hotel, downtown).
This is an extremely fascinating look inside your body and you will discovery many new and interesting things - and you will gain an even greater appreciation for the power of the human body and why we are right for taking such good care of it.
These are real human cadavers which have been treated with a special chemical process, perfectly preserving everything from muscle, bone, skin, organs, circulatory, digestive and sexual reproduction systems.
At the end, you will have the opportunity to hold in your hand a real human heart and brain. And don’t forget to check out the spinal column and remember the lumbar curve the next time you squat!

Yesterday, the Forge completed Karen - more Pr’s were broken! Wednesday, we worked for 15 minutes and completed rounds of 15 doubleunders and 15 pushups - I collapsed after completing 11.5 rounds….

A hard workout to describe…You had to do as many reps of squats with 135lbs or 85lbs as you can. Then you had to run 365 M. This had to be done in less then 15 minutes, and you had to complete a minimum of 4 rounds. Lowest round total was your score.
